Start the DB2000V3 program

Be sure that the squadron or District data file has been moved into the DB2000V3 Folder.
Squadron files have a name similar to sqd?.ex_ District files have a name similar to SQUADDxx.exe.

The first time you start the program you have only two options. Start and Help. Click Start

The listboxes referenced in this dialog box won't appear until after your click OK.

Next your are prompted to select a District and Squadron. After each selection you must answer a dialog box to confirm your selection.

Set up Authorization

Your User ID is your USPS Certificate Number

Input your data files

Click start and forget the rest of the stuff. A file selection dialog box will open. Select your squadron file and click Open. When the input has ended, the Cancel button caption will change to Finish. Click finish

The number in the box refers to the number of squadron records.

All your options should now be available.

Setup is now complete. You are ready to edit your Squadrons data or create reports.
