The download is prepared in a self extraction format. However, due to the fact that most e-mail programs and ISP's prohibit transfer of EXE (executable) files, the file extention was changed to EqE. It needs to be changed back to EXE after downloanding. Once the file is downloaded and saved, Right-Click on the file name and select Rename. Change the name to DB2K_TUT.EXE. Next, Double-Click on the file name to begin the installation process.
Click Finish and don't change anything.
If you recieve this message screen, it is because you have previously loaded the tutorial. To create a desktop icon, use Windows Explorer and locate file index.html in the C:\Program Files\DB2K_TUT directory. Right-Click on the file name and select
After selecting download at the bottom of this screen you will have to navigate through the folowing screens.
Select Yes
To make life easier, Select Save In: as the desktop.
Be sure that the file name remains DB2K_TUT.EqE. (If not cancel and start the download over.)
When this screen closes, the 2 MB download is complete. You can close your internet connect at this time while you refer to the tutorial. Go to your desktop and follow the instruction above to load the tutorial. Download the self extracting tutorial file here
