Illinois Valley

This coming May 30th our shore leave will be on Memorial Day evening at 6:30pm at the Marina Cantina at Eastport Marina in East Peoria, IL. It will be a special evening to say good bye to Linda Yoder, for she will be leaving us for the next chapter in her life departing for the west coast in June.

Please help us celebrate by joining us with honoring her for all the effort, time and dedication she has put into the power squadron. For the last 10 years she has been the glue that has held this squadron together. It will be a fun night!

Please RSVP by the 27th of May.

Lake Erie / Put-in-Bay, Ohio –

Put-In-Bay is on the north side of South Bass Island in Lake Erie.  It has become known for its party crowd on weekends during the summer. The group will spend at least 3 days at Put-in-Bay and may charter a fishing boat. There are several islands about 10 miles off shore from the Port Clinton, Cedar Point and Sandusky areas.  The Ensign 2011 winter issue features an article about Put-in-Bay.
